This is my reflection about being in Tui this year. I enjoyed making it because it was fun to make.

Haiku Poem

A Haiku is a Japanese poem and it doesn't need to make sense.  The first line in a Haiku needs to have five syllables. The second line needs to have seven syllables and the last line has five syllables .

 

Little Miss Funny

I learnt to record my story. I was nervous about recording it but managed to get it all done. I enjoyed finding pictures to match the story I was telling. It was fun putting it all on to the slide show. 

German Shepherds

 Once upon time there was a girl called Isabella. She lived in a pink Cottage and she had 2 German        shepherds. Her

Hobby was drawing and she loved German shepherds. She wrote a book about German 

shepherds. She loved running to the beach. The dogs names were Lucky and Ruby. She likes baking her favourite baking is lemon cake.

Stastical Investigation

 I found it fun asking my friends what pets they had but it was hard to put it into the graph. I learned that in Ruma Tui more people have cats than the other pets we asked about. Next time I would like to ask people about some different pets like chickens and turtles.

I  have been writing an introduction about me.

Hi, my name is Violet. I have 3 cats called Perse, Kitten and Bear. 

My best friends are Isla, Zoe, Elizabeth, Harmony and Olly. I have 10 chickens and 1 dog. I have 3 Rabbits and 3 roosters. My favourite fruit is peaches because they are crunchy and juicy. My classroom name is Tui. I love nachos because I like corn chips. My favourite song is Rescue Me. My favourite animals are big cats. I have 2 goldfish called Choco and Banana. I love bike riding, swimming, horse riding and skiing. I am 7. My teacher's name is Mrs Long. My favourite colour is purple. My favourite place is Nelson, because you can go to flip out and it's always sunny. 

I have a sister called Maisy she is 5. I like to go on bike rides with Maisy. 

Art Term 1

 This is my art from last term.  I used dye to colour in my background.  We wrote  about ourselves and things we liked.  We took a photo of ourselves.  We glued the photo and writing on.
